Quality Management Level Research – Awarding ceremony and lecture were held.

On January 31, 2017, the awarding ceremony and memorial lecture of the 9th Corporate Quality Management Level Research (conducted by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), sponsored by Nikkei Inc.) in which GC has won its first place were held at JUSE, in its Higashi-Koenji Building.

In the awarding ceremony, the top five companies were awarded for their excellent quality managements, and in the awardee’s lecture, General Manger of HR and GQM at GC International AG (Luzern, Switzerland), Mr. Gideon Blumental, presented under the theme of “GC’s Group-wide Challenge to Enhance Multi-national Quality Management”, and spoke about three elements of a corporation: ‘NAKAMA (Associates)’, ‘System’ and ‘Culture’ with actual examples of worldwide efforts for enhancement of Corporate Quality.

After the lecture, a panel discussion was held under the theme of “In quest of Quality Management to be in step with the era of changes”, and our president, Kiyotaka Nakao, went up on the stage as one of the panelists and exchanged opinions over active discussion with other participants.
