The 7th Japan-International Dental Conference and the 7th World Dental Show 2014 were jointly held at Pacifico Yokohama on October 10-12, 2014. The Japan-International Dental Conference was hosted by Quintessence Publishing Co., and supported by the Japan Dental Association, the Japan Dental Technologists Association, and the Japan Dental Hygienists’ Association. The 7th World Dental Show 2014, was sponsored by Quintessence Publishing Co., and supported by the Japan Dental Association, the Japan Dental Technologists Association, the Japan Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the Japan Dental Trade Association.

The Japan-International Dental Conference met in the Convention Hall and Annex Hall with 8,333 attendees, while the World Dental Show occupied the Exhibition Hall and welcomed 49,725 guests. The event was extremely successful.

Our exhibition booth was designed by the world-famous architect Kengo Sumi, who presented his philosophy for organic materials as a continuation of Japanese tradition from a wooden framework to a contemporary aluminum structure. The installation was named Aluminum Forest and was so popular that many guests took selfies in front of it.

Our corners presented dental scanner Aadva Scan, milling machine Aadva Mill LW-I, Cera Smart for CAD/CAM block, Aadva Lab Scan, Aadva Series, including Aadva Mill LD-I milling machine, GC Implants, hands-on experiences with NEX System, CR Bonding Cement, preventative dental care materials, including Ruscello, G-Compact iTouch, Unit for Eom Regalo and others.

Our seminar program invited Dr. Ikuo Okuno and Dr. Takahiro Tsuji, who presented “CAD/CAM age solutions for dental prosthesis implant,” and Dr. Kazuhiro Hikida, who presented “Practices of clinical CAD/CAM crown.” Both seminars were very well received.
